Q1. DVR will not turn on.
Check voltage switch (110V/220V). Check a power cable is properly connected with DVR. Check connecting status of ATX power connector between power supply and main board. Check connecting completely between slots of CPU, VGA, RAM, DVR-card and the DVR system. If you do not find out the solution through these steps, check power supply or exchange with new one.
Q2. After DVR turn on, there is no signal displayed on the screen, even reboot will not be done.
Check CPU, RAM and VGA are properly installed or malfunction
Q3. Window OS will not execute.
Most of the cases, Windows system file is damaged, so you need to reinstall Windows. Check HDD status and if necessary, replace HDD
Q4. Display screen turns green, or fragile.
Check VGA memory is 32M or higher Check display settings (1024x768 resolution and 32bit color). Check version of Direct X is 8.1b or higher Install latest version of VGA driver
Q5. Bad or no image displays.
Check camera cable at BNC panel. Check whether camera's power is on. Check video format (PAL/NTSC)
Q6. No images recorded.
Check the recording schedule. (If it was set as 'no record', no images will be recorded) Check the recording frame setup. (If it was set as '0 fps", no images will be recorded) In motion recording mode, nothing will be recorded if there is no movement.
Q7. PTZ camera is not working.
Check if camera is connected to a DVR. Check the power supply of PTZ camera. Check PTZ type which is supported by DVR program. Check the address as PTZ setup. Check a proper connection between P/T/Z and communication cable
Q8. DVR reboots improperly during it is running.
Malfunction of H/W or especially HDD causes this symptom, exchange HDD.
Q9. After running DVR program, black screen displayed
Check video format (NTSC/PAL) in setup mode and choose correct one if necessary. Restart system.
Q10. Can't backup to CD RW/DVR RW
Uninstall writing program from DVR system if you installed any. EZ DVR system has its own writing program inside
